Adult Ministries

Our Men's Ministries activities throughout the year include Saturday morning prayer breakfasts, the Promise Keeper's Conference and annual fall fishing trips.  Men's basketball continues during the winter and spring months and softball during the summer and fall.

Our Women's Ministries assist in bridal and baby showers, preparation of funeral and home from the hospital meals and a women's banquet in the spring.  They are also involved in home bible studies and Christmas shopping trips.  They also attend district Women's retreats at Indian Lake Nazarene Camp.

Children's Bible Quizzing is seasonal - September through March.  The “quiz kids” meet twice a week with an extra “cram session” the evening before a quiz meet.  This is an intense, very detailed, bible study, with creative ways to memorize and learn the scripture.  Quizzing practices are Wednesday and Sunday evenings, with invitational's scheduled with other Nazarene churches in November, January, and February.  Our quizzing coaches are Jackie Hurd, Debbie Graves, and Cindy Martin.

Vacation Bible School is an exciting time here at Perry Church of the Nazarene for children and adults alike!  Every Summer we look forward to an exciting week of fun, fun, and more fun!  Whether we are in the belly of a whale, or doing watching extreme sports, we learn about God in a FUN and EXCITING way!  We can hardly wait until Summer to see what’s in store for us… Hope to see you there!

Fall Carnival is an alternative to trick-or-treat.  The kids come to the church all dressed up in their costumes, and play carnival games and win candy...LOTS OF CANDY!!

Our Children's Bell Choir performs on special occasions and is led by Deb Peisert and Jackie Bremer.  All children grades 1-6 are invited to join in this awesome experience!

Boys and Girls Camp is held at Indian Lake Nazarene Camp in Vicksburg, Michigan.  Children going into grade 3 go to a 3 day “Rookie camp” ; boys grades 4-6 go to a Monday through Friday all boys camp and girls grades 4-6 go to a Monday through Friday all girls camp.  These camps are held at various times throughout the summer.  Because Perry Church of the Nazarene believes in our camp program, we provide $1 toward the camp fee for each Sunday a child is in Sunday School.  For anyone with perfect attendance, Perry Nazarene will pay 100% of their camp fee!

You are the salt of the earth . . . Matthew 5:13

With this as our call, we need to be shaken onto the world around us.

Shaken Youth Ministries: Called to be salt, we want to be shaken by God onto our world around us. We firmly believe that God can use us in our homes, our schools, and every aspect of our everyday lives to impact our world. It is no less than letting Him live through us, and that's what we are called to do. This is our name; our identity; our vision for who we want to be, as a ministry, and as a children of God.
